Too often outsiders to education believe that technology should "solve" problems or erase difficulties.
This is short sited and this is not the case. Technology does not solve learning; technology does not replace a teacher - instead it provides teachers a tool to help make learning more dynamic and powerful in their classrooms and for their students. Technology is not a magical pill.
Teachers must pursue the technologies that improve their lessons. Teaching is not easy but hopefully technology makes it easier to connect with students; to allow the crafting of individualized lessons; to enable students problem solving learning opportunities; and beyond.
