Article: Apple's New iOS 7 Features Cater to Schools
The article: "Apple's New iOS 7 Features Cater to Schools" is an important read for teachers with a 1:1 iPad classroom.
According to reports educators are going to enjoy many of the new features that schools are going to like. iOS7 supposedly will support single sign on - even across purchased apps - this could be a huge advantage for students as the current system forces students remember numerous logins. In my 1:1 classroom some of my students struggle with this component.
Other potential changes include the ability to lock the iPad to a specific app - and increased availability of the Apple Volume Purchase Program. I want to wait and see many of these changes for myself before offering too much commentary.
