Grantland's The Future of U.S. Soccer, Part II: The Age of Determination
I have enjoyed Andrew Lewellan's first two parts examining the future of U.S. Soccer - this is part two. I recommend any soccer fan to read - and any fan of U.S sports to read. As the introduction states: "In the second in a series of posts on the future of soccer, Andrew Lewellen looks back on a pivotal moment in U.S. soccer history — the 1990 World Cup — and how it changed the trajectory of the sport in the States. For Part I of the series, on the recent changes in high school and youth soccer, click here."
