Educational Article: Summertime Reading: To Compete or Not Compete

My principal sent along this article - it poses an interesting question - one that I struggle to answer. I always want to compete. For me I always insert competition into my classroom. I insert competition into my cooking, into my workouts, into my life. My wife, at time, hates that I make everything into a game. But this is how I am motivated.
