Internet Access Problem

A friend of mine articulated a fear that I had been sensing with my students while we were at a local watering hole.

Upon reflection many sports fans will remember a time when there would be a debate over a sports fact or event. In the past, this would lead to a discussion and debate. Today, the event transpires with little thought instead fingers tapping and zip zoom za ta da - google has answered and ended the argument like that.

The fear that we are unable to think - the fear that we are not creating information instead we are simply reading the previous information. Web 2.0 in education is trying to change - only time will tell
