Educational: Critical Reading in the Social Sciences

I love to teach critical reading in my social studies classroom. Often I have found references to critical reading - but this article from the University of California Berkeley defines what critical is, what it means specifically for social sciences, the difficulties students will face and why these difficulties exist.
