Review Overlap Maps

“An Overlap Maps is a map of one part of the world that overlaps a different part of the world. Overlap Maps show relative size.”
My take: I believe this is a great site for history teachers. As a 7th grade social studies teacher I often am working with students to understand geography. Size seems like a simple and easy part of geography but students - and many adults too - have a misconception to the size of different places and this site quickly allows users to see size comparisons. I recommend checking out Overlap Maps.

  1. Thank you, sir! You, and your students, are exactly who overlapmaps.com was created for. The site has just been revised so users can easily link to the overlapmaps they create, and share their overlap maps on Facebook. Here's another project of ours, in the same spirit, just FYI: http://actualsizebooks.com/HOME.html
    Thank you again!
