Educational Article: How Do Ultrabooks Differ from Their Notebook Computer Brethren?

In my biased - humble - opinion education is going to tablets. Like the iPad. However, I will candidly admit there are problems and obstacles to using iPads in the classroom. But I believe that how we use the iPad will continue to transform education enabling individualized opportunities for our students. Further developments are coming and will improve iPad use.

Calvin Hennick's article examines "What schools should know about this new breed of portable computing devices." These Ultrabooks are an interesting attempt to provide schools another choice. The cost is prohibitive at over $1,000. But Hennick provides nice information for schools to utilize as they research their options. And schools must continue to search for the best options.
