Article: This time Guillen has gone too far
Ken Rosenthal's article discusses his point of view that Ozzie Guillen's latest comments have gone too far, Rosenthal explains "A one-month suspension would send a powerful message that Guillen’s thoughtless remarks on Cuban dictator Fidel Castro will not be tolerated. A one-week suspension probably is more realistic." Guillen recently told a reporter "I love Fidel Castro... I respect Fidel Castro..." This poses interesting questions - where is the line of free speech drawn? Is this line different for managers of professional sports teams? Ozzie is a colorful manager who was loved on the south side of Chicago during his tenure despite several questionable comments and he begins his tenure in Miami immediately with comments that cause a need for discussion.
