NYT's "Where the jobs aren't"

It is difficult for me to imagine the current job market. As of the first day of school I received tenure in my school district. When I was job searching in my first (and only) interview I received a job offer. Talking with friends and family recently has revealed a much different world. Jobs are scarce and interviews can be linked to the common refrain who do you know. This article provides a point of view of what sectors are shrinking.
