"WeavingHistory" Review

·      WeavingHistory = http://www.weavinghistory.org/

"Create 'factlets' — places, people, events — and string them together into 'threads' at the click of a button. Automatically visualize the results temporally and spatially, search by any attribute, automatically import Wikipedia articles and much more ...  To get an idea of what's possible check out this thread about the Napoleonic Wars or this one about Shakespeare's Life and Works"

My take:
Site allows you to create threads of information using timelines and maps. All history teachers should examine this site and see if this site fits into their units. The site utilizes Wikipedia articles - there are two views: 'chrono view' and 'geochrono view." I recommend history teachers to check out this site Tags: History Sites
