Who's teaching L.A.'s kids?

An article that is causing debate among those in education from the LA Times is worth a read - this summer has been filled with lots of articles that seem to be teacher bashing or putting forth ideas from a single camp without providing both sides - as I try to teach my students it is important to always consider why was the article written (the bias) - but as I state in this blog I believe we must continue to read the articles and form our own opinion - http://www.latimes.com/news/local/la-me-teachers-value-20100815,0,2695044.story
